World Laughter Day celebrated with gusto in State capital


Have you ever thought that when was the last time you really laughed openly and freely? But there is a day when everyone laughs freely and happily, which is celebrated as World Laughter Day. On Sunday, people of State capital were seen in jolly mood as it was the occasion of World Laughter Day. People carried out laughter rally in city. They assembled at various places, including MP Board Office, and enjoyed the occasion, laughing openly. Every first Sunday of May is celebrated as World Laughter Day. Laughter is a positive and powerful emotion that has all the ingredients required for individuals to change themselves and to change the world in a peaceful and positive way. It was first celebrated in 1998 in Mumbai and then, the trend followed.

World Laughter Day was created in 1998 by Dr Madan Kataria, founder of the worldwide Laughter Yoga movement. The celebration of World Laughter Day is a positive manifestation for world peace and is intended to build up a global consciousness of brotherhood and friendship through laughter. It is most often celebrated by gatherings of people in public places with the sole purpose of laughing. Bhopal Laughter Club celebrated the day with great enthusiasm and fervor. They carried out rally from various areas of city and culminated at the Board office Square. Narela MLA Vishwas Sarang also gave his special presence in the event and become part of the day with laugh.
