Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan hasannounced to go to every limit, if needed, for accountability of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, reported Saturday.

While talking to the media before leaving for Islamabad from Karachi, Khan said that his struggle is against the politics of ‘kingdom’.

He said that his sister, Dr Uzma was travelling with her children when she was stopped and harassed by Punjab Police. He alleged that the personnel pointed guns at the family and it happened under the nose of Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, premier’s brother.

Dr Uzma was allegedly stopped and harassed by police deployed at security protocol of Pakistan People’s Party’s women wing president and sister to former president, Asif Ali Zardari, Faryal Talpur.

Talking about Amjad Sabri’s killing, he urged Rangers who have a special mandate to operate in Karachi against criminals to arrest late Qawwal’s killers. He said thatrecruitment of people who fall less than merit and political intervention in employments destroyed Sindh Police.

Khan demanded law enforcement agencies to take every step possible for recovery of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah’s abducted son, Owais Ali Shah.

Around 5,000 police personnel were fired in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over corruption, setting example for other provinces, Khan said adding that as many as 70,000 cops are deployed at security protocol of politicians in Punjab.

Earlier on Friday in Karachi, the PTI chief stated that movement against the government shall be initiated after Eidul-Fitr and that he could foresee the ‘demise’ of the rulers of the country.

Khan said that peace could not be established in the city until the police is depoliticised, adding that the system of governance also needed to be changed.

“Nawaz Sharif was involved in theft, now he says he himself will make the laws (for investigation),” Khan said.

Sharif brothers had bribed members of the judiciary, National Accountability Bureau and those belonging to the Election Commission of Pakistan, he alleged.

Khan said that Sharif brothers took loans worth Rs 4 billion prior to the 2013 General Elections.

PTI chairman further informed that site for the construction of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital was finalised in Karachi.
