Vivo is hosting an event in Beijing on June 30, where it will be launching two new smartphones — the X7 and X7 Plus. Both smartphones have been on the rumor mills for quite some time now, and today we get a look at what the smartphones may look like. Alleged hands-on photos of the Vivo X7 Plus have surfaced online showing the front and rear of the device.
The Vivo X7 Plus photos hint at a ‘pink’ variant, which we must admit looks a lot like the iPhone 6s. The front of the device is dominated by the display, with a home button below it that is likely to have a fingerprints scanner embedded. The back features a camera at the top-right corner, two antenna lines and the Vivo logo at the center.
Vivo X7 Plus specifications, features: From what we have come across so far, the X7 Plus is expected to feature a 5.7-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB internal memory that can be expanded using a microSD card. It is also likely to feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE.
As for the X7, it is expected to feature a 5.2-inch (1920×1080 pixels) full HD display, Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB internal memory. It is also expected to feature 3,000mAh battery, 16-megapixel rear camera, and connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE.
Vivo has been on a roll lately, and along with OPPO breached into the list of top-five smartphone vendors in the world. In the process, both the Chinese companies topped the likes of Xiaomi and Lenovo from the list.
