As the Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) is contemplating over who should be the next coach of the Indian cricket team, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli has suggested a name for the same.
Sources confirmed to the Times of India that former Kiwi cricketer Daniel Vettori’s name has been suggested by Kohli but there was no confirmation yet if the Indian board is seriously considering it.

Vettori, who is currently the head coach of RCB as well as Big Bash League side Brisbane Heat, announced retirement from international cricket last year, after New Zealand’s loss against Australia in the final of the ICC World Cup 2015.

Kohli replaced Vettori as the skipper of the Bangalore franchise in 2013.
