A male victim is in hospital after being stabbed multiple times in Etobicoke, according to police and paramedics.  Emergency crews were called to the area of Martin Grove Drive and Eglinton Avenue West late Saturday evening. Paramedics say the victim had been stabbed multiple times, and had life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to a trauma centre. The victim’s age is not known.

Separately, and at about the same time, a teenage boy was also stabbed, in the area of Islington Avenue and Rexdale Boulevard. He was taken to hospital.

Paramedics say the victim, believed to be in his late teens, was stabbed in the chest. His injuries are considered serious but not life-threatening.
