American network carrier Verizon Wireless has reportedly released Android Marshmallow for the flagship Droid Maxx 2.

“Verizon Wireless is pleased to announce a software update for your device [Droid Maxx 2]. This software update has been tested to optimize device performance, resolve known issues, and apply the latest security patches, [sic]” the company said in a statement.

The new update is being rolled out in two parts with build number versions “SU1A: 23.44.3.lux” and “SU1A: 23.44.4.lux” over the air (OTA) to Verizon Moto Max 2 in the U.S.
