Police are investigating after a vehicle taken on a test drive from a dealership in Corner Brook was not returned to the business. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary were called about the missing vehicle around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
A man had gone to the dealership and taken a vehicle on a test drive around 11:30 a.m.
He told the business he would only be gone for a short time, but didn’t return.
The dealership decided to call police.
The RNC found the vehicle in question later Thursday evening and were able to locate the driver.
No charges were laid as of Friday morning, but the investigation was continuing.
