David Dhawan’s Judwaa sequel is set to kick off by mid-2017 and leading man Varun Dhawanhas already started prep. The 28-year-old actor had told Mirror (July 16) that the script is being locked. He has also turned down every other offer and hasn’t signed any new film. Now, Mirror has learnt that the prep has extended to the actor treating his fans to a glimpse of the hit number, “Tan Tana Tan”, from the original Judwaa, which has been recreated for the sequel. With the exception of this song, all the other tracks will be new.Varun is understandably excited, wanting to gauge the audience’s reaction as he steps into Salman’s shoes.He leaves for the US Dream Tour late tonight and will perform the number during one of his stage turns. Varun was busy promoting Dishoom and could practice only at night. “It’s thrilling! I’ll be performing for a live audience outside India, it’s a difficult market to win over,” Varun had said.Also featuring Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, the concert kicks off on August 12.

MEANWHILE…After walking in hand-in-hand for Anil Kapoor’s 59th birthday bash in December, 2015, and a threeday Goa getaway in January this January, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal turned up together for the actor’s close friend, Vidhi Shanghvi’s engagement ceremony in Lower Parel last weekend.The wedding is set for next year.Buzz is, Natasha who has been dating Varun for a while now has his parents, David and Karuna’s blessings. Natasha was also at the Dishoom success party held last week and seemed to be at home with the Dhawans.
