A four-year-old boy has been cut free from a vending machine at a Melbourne shopping centre after he became trapped while trying to reach for lollies.
Firefighters were called to the Eastland Shopping Centre in Ringwood at 4.42pm on Friday.
Specialist rescue crews had to cut the machine open to free the boy’s hand, an MFB spokesman says.
The boy was freed by 5.22pm and has been taken to hospital with minor injuries to his fingers.
