India’s master blaster Sachin Tendulkar will soon be featured in Sachin Saga, his first official mobile game. The game will be developed by PlayIzzOn Technologies at its studios in Pune and the US. PlayIzzOn is a gaming arm of JetSynthesys. The partnership has been initiated in association with Fluence, a celebrity digital network in India.JetSynthesys is backed by Infosys co-founder Kris Gopalkrishnan, who is the non-executive chairman of the company.The games will relive Sachin’s cricketing journey. Rajan Navani, VC and MD of Pune-based JetSynthesys, released the teaser of the game today in Pune.“It is exciting to have my first digital game being developed. We have partnered with PlayIzzOn to create ‘Sachin Saga’, an exclusive gaming experience for all. I am involved with different things and this experience will be something all of us will enjoy together,” Sachin Tendulkar said in a statement.“With a highly qualified and dedicated team of professionals from India and the US, we are confident of developing this game into a world class product and doing justice to the legacy Sachin has left behind in the field of cricket,” said Navani.JetSynthesys currently operates through MereeDhun for music, PlayIzzOn for gaming, Wakau in partnership with CA Media Digital for celebrity video blogging, DigiAdz for targeted digital advertising, dataLytiX for big data analytics and Jetlabs/Jetventures. Last year in June, JetSynthesys had acquired Pune-based gaming company Xerces Technologies, which has developed some of the most downloaded games across various app stores such as Cricket Unlimited, StickMan fighter, Bull Fighter, Mad Car Racing and the movie-based game Bang Bang.According to Navani, global gaming market is of $99.6 billion where major contributors are the US and China. Indian gaming will reach up to $2 billion in the next five years from the current $570 million.JetSynthesys has recently announced the launch of ‘Garage’, a unique infrastructure-based concept that offers to provide a perfect eco-system for start-ups with total investment of $3 million. About 10 start-ups, which have been incubated, accelerated or invested in by Jetlabs and Jetventures in India or Silicon Valley, have started using this facility.Sachin Saga would be made available on smart phones on Android, iOS, Windows and will also be released on Consoles. The final version of the game is expected to come in the next five to six months, whereas, the prequel of the game will be introduced in the next three months.
