POLICE have accused a 19-year-old man of causing life threatening head injuries to one man and assaulting another during a brawl in Armadale. The victims were walking with a group of men on Jull Street when they were approached by a different group just after 1am on Sunday, April 10.

Police will allege an 18-year-old man and 17-year-old boy were assaulted when a fight broke out between the groups.

The 18-year-old man suffered life threatening head injuries when he was knocked to the ground.

He has since undergone emergency surgery in Royal Perth Hospital. A 19-year-old Thornlie man was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and grievous bodily harm.
