An investigation continues into a fatal crash in Altrincham in which a 9 year old girl died. A 45 year old man and 11 year old girl were also in the Toyota Auris when it crashed into a wall close to a block of flats on Manchester Road yesterday morning. There has been no update so far on their condition in hospital. Local residents have spoken of their shock at the tragic accident.  Police are appealing for witnesses after a car crashed into a wall in Altrincham killing one of its teenage passengers.

It happened just before 11 am on Manchester Road, close to a block of flats. A 45 year old man and an 11 year old girl have been taken to hospital.  Police are investigating claims the car in which a teenage girl died was travelling at ‘high speed’ before the collision.

A black Toyota Auris had hit a brick wall by a block of flats just before 11 am this morning.Police discovered a 45-year-old man and two teenage girls inside.

An 11-year-old girl have been taken to hospital, but a second girl was pronounced dead at the scene.

They are all believed to be from the same family. Police originally believed that two boys had run from the vehicle shortly after the collision. This was confirmed to be incorrect information and police are no longer searching for any other passengers.

Police say they are no longer looking for two boys in connection with a fatal crash in Altrincham. Officers say information that the teenage boys had run from the vehicle was ‘incorrect’.

Shortly after 10.50am police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Manchester Road near to Stamford Road in Altrincham. Officers arrived and found a black Toyota Auris had hit a brick wall by a block of flats.

Police discovered a man and two children in the vehicle. A 45-year-old man and an 11-year-old girl have been taken to hospital

Sadly a second girl was pronounced dead at the scene. They are all believed to be from the same family. An investigation is ongoing and police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the collision to contact police as soon as possible.
