Saskatoon police, along with C.N. police, are investigating a non-suspicious death after a teenager’s body was found in the train yard Saturday afternoon.
At approximately 3:15 p.m., police say they were called to the 1600 block of Chappell Drive, after C.N. Rail staff found an unresponsive boy on the tracks. Officers say they believe the 16-year-old was struck by a train.
The family of the boy does not want to have the boy’s name released. contacted C.N. and they have declined to comment because Saskatoon police are still investigating.
