A 16-year-old girl who police say was dragged and taken from her home by two young men has been found safe.  Toronto police, who were treating the case as a possible abduction, said it happened in Malvern in the area of McLevin Avenue and Tapscott Road.

Police were called to the house for “unknown trouble” at 9:30 a.m. A caller told police that someone was trying to break into the home.

The mother of the girl told police two men forced their way into the home and dragged her daughter away.  The girl was later found safe. The suspects are described as two teens, both about six feet tall. Police say they were last seen heading eastbound on foot into a nearby wooded area.  Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-4200.
