A male teenager is dead after being stabbed in the chest at Scarborough Centre station on Friday night, police say. Toronto police Const. Craig Brister said police were called to the station, near Brimley and Ellesmere Roads, around 9:22 p.m. for reports of a stabbing. There’s no word on a suspect at this time.
Toronto paramedics said the teen suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital via emergency run.
Police later reported that he had died.
Homicide detectives are heading to the scene.
The Scarborough RT is bypassing Scarborough Centre while police investigate, the TTC said.
