Six people have been arrested after shots were fired at an apartment building near Shuter and Sherbourne streets overnight.  Police say the shooting may have been a result of an argument between two groups.

They received a call reporting the sound of at least three gunshots at 12:32 a.m. Reports indicate the shots were fired near a playground in the park behind the building at 275 Shuter St.

Police say after the shots were fired between five and six males were seen running into the apartment building.

Once officers arrived, they were told that one of the suspects had thrown a gun out of a window. He was among those later arrested.  No one reported any injuries, police say.
