Expressing serious concern over delay in recovery of the abducted son of the Sindh High Court chief justice, the SHC convened a full court meeting on Thursday to plan the future course of action.
Barrister Awais Ali Shah, son of SHC CJ Sajjad Ali Shah, was kidnapped by masked men in front of a Clifton superstore on June 20. However, police and other law enforcement agencies remained unaware of his kidnapping until his family reported it hours later.
According to a press release issued by the registrar of the SHC, a meeting of SHC judges was held on Wednesday focusing on the abduction of barrister Shah.
The judges expressed their serious concern over delay in safe recovery of the captive and decided that a full court meeting be convened on Thursday in the Committee Room of the SHC to consider the future course of action, it added.
