Samsung has launched an all-new budget phone, called the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo in South Africa. The Galaxy J1 Ace Neo is now listed on the company’s official website for South Africa, without pricing and availability details. The phone is listed in the colours Black, Blue, and White.The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo phone comes with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a 480×800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which is further expandable by up to 128GB via microSD card. The singleSIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop-based TouchWiz UI and supports 4G LTE connectivity.It sports a 5-megapixel camera on the rear with autofocus and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed by a 1,900mAh battery which is removable.The company recently launched the 4G LTE capable budget phone, J2 2016 in India at a price of Rs 9,750. The USP of the new Galaxy J2 2016 is said to be its next-generation LED notification system, called the Smart Glow. The feature can be used to colour-code any contact or application as also phone alerts.In addition, the Galaxy J2 2016 also comes with Turbo Speed Technology (TST) that “loads apps up to 40 per cent faster than devices with double the RAM,” claims Samsung.The Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 comes with a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a 720p resolution and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which is further expandable by up to 32GB via microSD card. It sports an 8-megapixel camera on the rear with LED flash alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
