SAD counters AAP with ‘Lalkar’


Taking on the Aam Aadmi Party, the Student Organisation of India (SOI) of the Akali Dal yesterday launched an audio-video track “Lalkar”.
SADpresident Sukhbir Badal released this track sung by Meetpal Singh Dugri, SOI president of Malwa zone-3, in the presence of Parmbans Singh Bunty Romana, state coordinator of the SOI and other union leaders.
Lyricist Satta Gill, in his song “Lalkar” has warned AAP’s convener Arvind Kejriwal against misleading people through false propaganda. He also launched frontal attack on party’s national executive Kumar Vishwas for describing Punjabis as drug addicts in his latest song.
In Fazilka, Sukhbir termed AAP and Congress inimical to Punjab as “both solely centered on acquiring power for which they can even destroy the social fabric of the state”. Sukhbir, who was here to listen to the grievances of the people of the Fazilka Assembly constituency, interacted with the representatives of 60 panchayats of Fazilka and distributed grants among them.
