The camp will be held on campus of an engineering college in Bithoor area where an orientation programme will be organised for the prant pracharaks from July 11 to July 13.The All India Executive of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will camp in Kanpur from July 11 to July 17 to lay down the action plan of its different activities for next one year. Pracharak from all 44 prants and 11 kshetras from across the country will be taking part in the camp.
The camp will be held on campus of an engineering college in Bithoor area where an orientation programme will be organised for the prant pracharaks from July 11 to July 13. Various rounds of meetings of these pracharaks will be held over next two days in presence of senior office bearers. Further, on July 16 and July 17, top functionaries are likely to hold separate meetings with kshetra pracharaks and pracharaks of prant falling in respective kshetra.
All the top office bearers of RSS including its chief Mohan Bhagwat will remain present at camp. Bhagwat is likely to address at least one session in the week-long event.“RSS begins its new session of activities from July every year. This time, Kanpur has been chosen as venue for the meeting to decide the programme and various activities of the organisations,” said an RSS office bearer.
The office bearer further said that pracharaks of all prants and kshetras will present details of activities planned in their respective areas for next one year based on which the senior office bearers will line up their tour to different prants.
The meeting at Kanpur, considered to be a stronghold of the ruling Samajwadi Party, comes just over a month after RSS held an official training camp for volunteers in Etawah —- the home district of SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Earlier this month, BJP national president Amit Shah inaugurated the conventions of booth presidents from Kanpur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also likely to address a rally in Kanpur on July 15 on the first anniversary of Skill India Mission.
