Renault Lodgy, the French automaker’s multi-purpose vehicle, has added a ‘World Edition’ in its Indian line-up. Renault will offer the new edition of the car in the 8-seater iteration of both 85 PS and 110 PS variants, priced at 9.74 lakh and 10.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. While the car remains largely unchanged, the latest variation of the model receives a total of ’25 new enhancements’ including that for its exterior and interior. Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations, said, “Since its launch, Lodgy has been steadily gaining momentum in India despite the challenges faced in the MPV segment. We have thousands of happy families experiencing Lodgy and testifying to its superior attributes. With the Lodgy World Edition, we will further augment Lodgy’s value proposition and appeal, with distinctive exterior and interior enhancements that reflect evolving customer trends, coupled with the superior performance, comfort, safety, space and unmatched fuel efficiency that has become a hallmark of the Lodgy range. We will continue to engage customers with this segment defining product and Lodgy will play a significant role in our growth plans in India, along with the other volume drivers.” In terms of exterior changes, the new Renault Lodgy World Edition sports a jewel-studded front grille enhanced, fog-lamps with chrome satin garnish, two-tone aerodynamic bumper, black wheel-arch cladding, R15 Nepta finish alloy wheels, and a ‘WORLD EDITION’ badge. The car also receives body graphics, dual-tone roof rails with chrome satin finish, printed matte & textured B&C pillar stripping, and a rear spoiler. Renault will offer the Lodgy World Edition in four colours, namely, Fiery Red, Royal Orchid, Pearl White, and Moonlight Silver. The MPV’s cabin also receives only cosmetic changes, such as glossy black foam steering wheel with two-toned World Edition badge, instrument cluster with anodized orange finish center ring, etc. The Lodgy World Edition will also continue to come powered by the 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine in two states of tune. For transmission, the car receives a 6-speed manual for the 110PS variant and a 5-speed manual for the 85PS variant. Their fuel-efficiency is rated at 19.98Km/l and 21.04Km/l, respectively. Renault will also the 3CARE maintenance package with the Lodgy World Edition for 22,142.
