The most important and difficult thing to do is to keep your hands off your face. Though you might be tempted to itch or meddle with the affected area, keep reminding yourself to avoid touching the face. Otherwise, it spreads infection which will only make things worst.

Though several people might suggest using makeup to cover up the acne, it is better to avoid using any chemicals on your face.

 Make sure your skin gets to breathe. Get some sunlight. Standing in the sun for a good 15-20 minutes will help reduce the inflammatory response and bacterial levels on your skin. Exposing the skin in the sun will also help you get vitamin D. But make sure you don’t overexpose.
Have healthy food. Consume a lot of green vegetables as it will regularise your diet as well as your entire body system. A major reason for acne is stress. Make sure to do yoga at least for 15 minutes every day. This will rejuvenate you and will help you bring down your stress levels.Dandruff can also be a major cause for acne. Wash your hair regularly and make sure you don’t have dandruff. Use clean clothes, those that are soaked in warm water.
