The case of a Regina man found dead after a house fire last month is now considered a homicide, police say. The body of Ryan Daniel Sugar, 31, was found Oct.11 inside a burned residence at 1555 McTavish St.

Regina police and the coroner’s office confirmed Tuesday it was a homicide.

Major crimes investigators have made “significant progress” on the case, police said.
