Mounties in southern Saskatchewan say a 12-year-old boy is missing after he was spotting swimming in the Woodlawn Regional Park south of Estevan, Sask., on Sunday.
At 2 p.m. CST Estevan RCMP were called to the Woodlawn Regional Park, about 200 kilometres southeast of Regina, about a possible drowning.
Police said a boy, 12, was swimming with another person when he was spotted going under the water. The boy hasn’t been located yet and an extensive search of the area, alongside the RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team, has turned up nothing.
Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
