India allrounder Ravindra Jadeja didn’t allow David Warner much time to celebrate after the Australian opener completed 1000 Test runs against India.
The left-arm spinner Jadeja struck in his first over after the Australian opening duo of Warner and Renshaw gave the visitors a solid start.
Jadeja took an outstanding return catch of his own bowling. Warner attempted to hit out at a well-flighted delivery and hit the ball straight back at the bowler.
The left arm spinner showed great reflexes to take the return catch at shoulder height to dismiss the Aussie for 19.
The dismissal of the aggressive Warner put the brakes on the Australian run-rate which had been clipping along at above five an over at one stage.
