On Saturday night, the paps spotted a rather-sprightly looking Ranveer Singh outside Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office. It looked like ghar ka khaana and a good amount of sleep had helped him recover quickly from jet lag. Though he avoided questions about his ‘engagement’ with Deepika Padukone, he was more than happy to pose for the shutterbugs.
Back in the office, we hear, the filmmaker and his muse had a long closed-door meeting about the details of his next film. The actor will reportedly soon start working on SLB’s next titled ‘Padmavati’, in which he will be playing the anti-hero Alauddin Khilji. The film’s casting is still underway and the actors are yet to sign on the dotted line. Whether Ranveer will locking himself up in a hotel room again to get into the skin of his next character, remains to be seen.Sanjay Leela Bhansali recently announced his next magnum opus ‘Padmavati’ and the filmmaker has been completely consumed with the film, so much so that he is spending almost 18-19 hours a day working on it. Infact he already has an ambitious music album in place and has recorded the first song with Shreya Ghoshal. Says a source, ” Sanjay Leela Bhansali eats, sleeps and breathes his movies.
