Completing the last leg of the shooting, the Dhruva team called it a wrap after the last scenes were shot in Thailand’s Krabi islands. The lead actors posted the news on social media. “And it’s a wrap for Dhruva! My team that keeps me going!” said Ram Charan Teja.

Female lead Rakul Preet Singh is also excited about the release of the film. “Could not have ended the film on a happier note! Fun to the peaks ! Packupppp #dhruva! Cyu soon in theatres #boom #ramcharan [sic],” Rakul Preet posted on Twitter.
Dhruva is gearing up for release in the first week of December. The film is expected to be a big show for the star as it packs some heavy action sequences shot in exotic and remote locations. Rakesh Udiyar, who pumped up and shaped the beefy hulks of Bollywood, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan in Sultan and Dangal, has also been working with Dhruva for his bulky rugged look in Dhruva. We all know that from box office hits Magadheera to Thoofan (remake of 1973’s Zanjeer), Charan has always been keen on signing action-packed roles.
Dhruva is the official Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster, Jayam Ravi’s Thani Oruvan. Music has been composed by Hiphop Tamizha, who also composed for the Tamil original and cinematography is by PS Vinod. Under Surender Reddy’s direction, the film features Rakul Preet Singh, who plays Ram Charan’s ladylove, apart from Arvind Swamy who is also seen playing a crucial role.
Meanwhile, Ram Charan, the actor-producer, is also busy bankrolling his father, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback film Khaidi No 150, which is set to hit the screens on Sankranti next year.
