A man has died after he was stabbed multiple times at a home in south-east Queensland. Police were investigating but were yet to identify a suspect.

A police spokesman said a number of people were at the Mundubbera home, about 140 kilometres west of Maryborough, when the man was found with multiple stab wounds about 11.30am.

The 43-year-old man was rushed to Mundubbera Base Hospital but doctors couldn’t save him.

Maryborough Criminal Investigation Branch detectives, and forensic officers were en route to the Bunce Street address, where a crime scene had been set up.

A man has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after reportedly being stabbed at a residence in south-east Queensland.

Police have secured the area around the workshop at Mundubbera, west of Maryborough.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man was treated for puncture wounds and rushed to Mundubbera Hospital in a critical condition. It has been reported that the man, in his 40s, has been stabbed but a police spokesperson couldn’t confirm the details of the incident.
