Tightening the noose around the protesting activists of ETT TET-Pass Unemployed Teachers’ Union, the Lambi police have booked three of their associates who had yesterday climbed atop a water tank close to the CM’s residence at Badal village.Some unidentified persons too have been booked under Sections 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty), 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions), 457 (lurking house-trespass or house-breaking by night in order to commit offence punishable with imprisonment), 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC and Section 4 of the Explosive Substances Act.The persons booked by name are Amarjit Singh Kamboj from Ferozepur, president, ETT TET-Pass Unemployed Teachers’ Union; Hardeep Singh from Mansa and Himanshu from Bareta.They are presently admitted to the Civil Hospital at Badal village as their health had deteriorated yesterday and they had alighted from the overhead water tank.
