At Global Citizen Festival at Central Park in New York City, Priyanka Chopra was the co-host and the festival was headlined by a host of celebs including Coldplay, Demi Lovato, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Major Lazer and Metallica as well as special guests Usher, Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, Ellie Goulding, Yandel and Yusuf / Cat Stevens. Our focus was entirely on the Quantico star and how she again showed us that she is the best ambassador India can have at the global stage. She even managed to smooth over a gaffe by Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin. For a minute, she said ‘oh’ and then went on to coolly talk about the extravaganza that the Indian edition is going to be. She also spoke about India as a country at length. “Around 65% of India’s population is below 25 years old. It has got huge potential,” said Priyanka at the event. Priyanka also promoted Quantico which premiered its first episode on Monday.Global Citizen Festival is an annual music festival established in 2012.
