Police are on the hunt for an armed suspect in connection with a carjacking in Mississauga. It happened on Paisley Boulevard West, near Hurontario Street and Dundas Street West, around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police said a man was walking to his vehicle when he was confronted by the suspect who was carrying what appeared to be a handgun. The suspect grabbed the victim’s car keys and drove off.

The driver wasn’t hurt.

The vehicle has since been located but police continue to search for the suspect. He is male, brown, around five-feet nine-inches tall, and is between 24-25 years old.
