Q How did the association between you and Sunny happen?

It all began five years ago when a director called me and asked me to come for a meeting as I had to dress up his model for a shoot. The model was none other than Sunny Leone. I designed three dresses for her and she loved them all. Post the shoot she left back to the US. A month later I get a call from someone asking me to design outfits for Sunny for a 31st December event in Delhi. Yet again Sunny liked my costumes and from then there was no looking back! Right from her first film ‘Jism 2’ till the latest ‘One Night Stand’ I have designed all her costumes. I also do style her up for all her red carpet appearances, events, parties etc.
Q Which one has been the toughest Sunny starrer to work on?

I must say, ‘Ek Paheli Leela’. It was quite a heavy project what with the story which had her flaunting western, cut to, a desi avatar. The film went from past to present to the reincarnation and all that led to a lot of research, thought process and work.

Q You have been there throughout supporting her in her Bollywood journey. What is the equation that she shares with you?

Sunny is my rakhi sister. She has a little brother who is of the same age as mine, so she ties rakhi to me as well. We are also like 3 am buddies. When we have free time on our hands we go to watch movies together. Also, whenever I am at her place discussing work, she cooks food for both of us. She is truly a friend in deed as I remember how post my surgery she took me to her home town in the US just to cheer me up.
