A 16-year-old boy has drowned before being pulled unconscious from the water at a Perth boat harbour. The teenager was jumping off a jetty at Hillarys Boat Harbour marina with friends when he was pulled from the water on Sunday afternoon.
He was rushed to Joondalup Health Campus by ambulance but later died. Witness Victor Black posted on his Facebook page: ‘We tried everything we could to save your son. My thoughts are with you at this time.’ Investigations are continuing into the boy’s death.
