A 78-year-old man, who was in a motorized chair when he was struck by a vehicle Wednesday, has died from his injuries, police in Saskatoon said. According to police, the man was on Central Avenue at 109th Street when he was hit around 2:40 p.m. CST.
He was taken to hospital for treatment of what were initially reported as serious injuries. Police said the man’s condition worsened and he died. Police said the driver of the vehicle, a 33-year-old Saskatoon woman, was charged with failing to yield.
