India’s stock, debt, and currency markets will be closed on Thursday and Friday for domestic holidays. Trading will resume on Monday.

The benchmark BSE index rose 1.91 per cent, while the broader NSE index gained 1.84 per cent on Wednesday.

The benchmark 10-year bond rose 2 basis points to 7.44 per cent from its previous close, while the rupee weakened slightly to 66.64/65 from 66.4250/4350.
