It is that time of the year, when Hindus celebrate the first phase of Navaratri called the ‘Chaitra Navaratri’ (March-April). The second one is the ‘Sharad Navaratri’, celebrated during the months of September-October. During ‘Chaitra Navaratri’, which begins on April 8 this year, the ninth day is celebrated as Ram Navami.
As per Hindu Religion, these nine days of Navaratri are considered auspicious and people worship the nine forms of Durga to seek protection against danger and injury of any kind.
