Murder charge laid in death of man found in Mississauga parking garage

Peel Regional Police have laid a first-degree murder charge in death of a man found in a Mississauga parking garage last week, who has been identified as 31-year-old Nam Huu Pham.

Police were called to the underground parking lot in the Grand Park Drive and Burnhamthorpe Road West area last Wednesday afternoon where they located Pham with “obvious signs of trauma.”

Pham was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy later confirmed his cause of death to be a stab wound.

A 26-year-old Mississauga man was arrested in connection with the death and appeared in a Brampton courthouse on Tuesday. He is next set to appear for a bail hearing on Nov. 4.
