The Baaghi star took to his Twitter account to share his first look from the movie with caption, “New journey, new team, dedicated to my hero, the king of entertainment. Hope ur watching. #MunnaMichael.” Well Tiger we know you are a fab dancer already but sorry to say, instead of this iconic pose, all we could see were those well toned eight pack abs.
The movie which is like paying an ode to Michael Jackson will see Tiger shaking his legs in a true MJ style including imitating his moonwalk’, `toe-stand’, `feet shuffle’, `MJ spin’, `anti-gravity lean’, `sideslide’, `circle-slide’, `the bad train’, `jacket throwback’ and the `robot’ step.
To make sure nothing goes wrong from his side, director Sabbir Khan has erected a huge set in Mulund which represents Mumbai’s nightlife . On Sunday, the song sequence which opens Sabbir Khan’s upcoming musical romance, Munna Michael, featuring a street kid who dreams of becoming the King of Pop, finally kicked off. “The song was recorded in Mumbai and sent to LA, where a team of American choreographers created dance videos which our Bollywood team and Tiger have recreated here. It’s brilliant!” exults Sabbir who is re-uniting with Tiger for a hattrick after Heropanti and Baaghi.
Speaking to a leading daily, Tiger confirms that his ode to Michael Jackson has been his toughest role till date. “MJ’s the greatest and this entire film’s dedicated to him,“ says Tiger, pointing out that apart from the dancing, he’s also looking forward to some great action.
Interesting the film that also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui will also seen him shaking his legs besides Tiger. This brilliant star who obviously has next to nothing experience when it comes to dancing had to put in extra efforts to match Tiger’s caliber and his energy. Ask Tiger what he has to say about these efforts put by the Kick star and he states that, “Nawaz sir is one of the greatest actors of all time. If he can change his body language from dark and brooding to fun and quirky, then dancing will be a piece of cake for him. I have a lot to learn from him.”
The movie’s lead actress Nidhhi is business graduate but has been learning, ballet Kathak and belly dancing since seven years and this incidentally helped her edge out other aspirants.
