While we will know more about the Moto G4 in the coming days, but already we have a lot of information about it. In fact, Motorola has started teasing about it.
Launch date in India: May 17 (this is confirmed).
Variants: Expect two variants similar to how Apple offers it for the iPhone 6S. This means there will be one Moto G4 with regular screen size (likely to be around 5 inches) and there will be one with the screen size of 5.5 inches. Both will have FullHD screen.
Price: The new Moto G4 is likely to be pricier compared to the earlier Moto G phones. Reason? Lenovo, which own Motorola, now wants to position the Moto phones as somewhat more premium devices. It is expected that the price of the Moto G4 in India could be as high as Rs 18,000.
Processor: It is confirmed that the Moto G4 is coming with an octa-core processor. We suspect that it is going to be Qualcomm Snapdragon 615.
Camera: Expect a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. One special feature of the phone is likely to be fast dual autofocus system.
Storage: Expect minimum 16GB internal storage and at least 3GB RAM.
Battery: It is going to have 3,000 mAh battery with turbo charging.
Other features: Fingerprint is confirmed. And so is the dual-SIM feature.
Design: The Moto G4 will have a body made of plastic. However, it is likely to be water-proof and the will have extremely thin bezels around the screen.
