Simplilearn has teamed up with Microsoft to create a talent pool of over one lakh next generation cloud professionals by 2020. This makes Simplilearn Microsoft’s silver learning partner for its suite of Microsoft Azure certification courses. As cloud based apps are taking centrestage in the digital workplace, the learning platforms will help train IT professionals on Azure.

Goldman Sachs forecasts that the cloud platform and infrastructure market together generate $21 billion in revenues. And, it is further expected to grow by 20 percent year after year amounting to $43 billion by 2018. The certification courses include Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions, Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions to equip learners with relevant skills through Simplilearn’s online training, e-learning and industry projects.

Cloud expert Bernard Golden will be the course adviser along with experienced Microsoft certified trainers. On the other hand, Simplilearn has close to 500 employees and office operations in San Jose, California and Bangalore, it’s a professional training startup aimed at the upskilling and reskilling of working professionals across the world. It’s available to access on the web and also in the form of iOS and Android apps. Also, it should be noted that earlier this week Google acquired cloud training startup Qwiklabs to offer a comprehensive and efficient way to train and onboard people across its products like G Suite, Google cloud platform and so on.
