The new Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and come with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection from scratches. It is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM. The handset packs 16GB of onboard storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 64GB).
The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Canvas Amaze 2 smartphone features dual-SIM support and is backed by a 2500mAh battery. The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. The handset supports 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB connectivity options. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.

The domestic handset maker last month unveiled the Canvas Selfie 4 smartphone alongside the Micromax Bolt Selfie. The biggest highlight of the Micromax Canvas Selfie 4 was its 8-megapixel front and rear cameras. Another notable feature of the Canvas Selfie 4 was its rear ‘Tap Sensor’ which the company touts can click images on tapping. The sensor can also be used to take calls. The smartphone ran Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
