The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD-Amritsar) is gearing up to contest the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and Assembly elections.
Party leader Papalpreet Singh will head the youth wing and propagate the party’s policy of establishing a Sikh sovereign state that would be suitable for the people belonging to any religion, caste and creed, said SAD (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann here today.
He said that all the ‘Sarbat Khalsa-supporting parties are on one platform to sound the bugle of the SGPC and 2017 Assembly elections in Punjab. “We would fight on all 117 Assembly seats,” he said.
