Leamington Fire officials say one person had to be extricated following a three vehicle collision Sunday evening. Fire crews along with OPP and EMS responded to the area of Mersea Road 5 and County Road 31 around 9 p.m. after it was reported one person was trapped following the collision.
Fire officials say that a 69-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries
OPP had the area closed for several hours overnight while they conducted an investigation.
The intersection has since reopened. There is no word on any possible charges or other injuries.
