A man was killed during an elevator accident in downtown Toronto Tuesday night. Toronto police said they responded to the call around 7 p.m. at One King West Hotel at Yonge and King streets.
Authorities said they located a male at a freight elevator without vital signs. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the death was a result of an industrial accident.
There’s no word yet on how the man died.
The Ministry of Labour has been called in for the investigation.
