A young man is in stable condition after a stabbing in downtown Toronto during Nuit Blanche Saturday night. Toronto police said the man was stabbed at Yonge and Shuter Streets just before midnight. The stabbing occurred as part of a fight and police said a group of men may be responsible.
Toronto paramedics said the man was taken to a trauma centre in critical condition at 11:57 p.m.
Sandra McLeod, deputy commander of Toronto Paramedic Services, said paramedics were flagged at the intersection of Yonge and Shuter Streets. “It was part of the Nuit Blanche celebration,” she said.
