POLICE are still investigating if anyone else was involved in a man’s death at Nambucca Heads yesterday. Officers found the man, believed to be aged in his 20s, with his throat slashed at a property in Ridge St, where they were called shortly before 3pm.

The man, who is yet to be formally identified, was believed to have been savagely attacked, but officers have not yet determined if the death was suspicious. Neighbours reported hearing an altercation earlier in the day.

Police have canvassed the entire block around the run-down timber house and spoken to residents.

The address, in one of the busiest streets in the small mid-north coast town, is still a crime scene tonight as police continued their investigation.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
