A 35-year-old man is dead after a motorcycle accident in Brossard. It happened just after 10 p.m. Tuesday on Provencher Boulevard near Place Valiquette. The man was brought to hospital in critical condition and died early Wednesday morning.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the collision, but for now are saying speeding is the most likely cause.
The SAAQ’s annual update on vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian accidents and injuries showed a small uptick — two per cent — in the number of motorcyclists injured or killed on the road last year compared to the 2010-2014 average.
