A man is dead after his motorcycle was involved in a crash with a car north of Regina. It happened around 8:04 a.m. CST on Tuesday close to where Highway 6 intersects with Industrial Drive.
RCMP said the preliminary investigation suggests the car was driving north on Highway 6 when it made a left turn across the highway to get onto Industrial Drive. The southbound motorcycle crashed into the car as it crossed the southbound lanes.
The 34-year-old man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the 21-year-old man in the car was shaken up, but not injured.
Their names have not been released.
An RCMP collision reconstruction expert and emergency crews were at the scene and southbound lanes were closed for several hours, police said.
RCMP continue to investigate the crash.
