A man has been charged with murder after a 38-year-old man was fatally stabbed at a Cranbourne home on Friday night. Emergency services were called to a house in Camms Road about 9.10pm after receiving reports that a man had been stabbed. Paramedics tried to save the injured man but he died at the scene.

Homicide Squad detectives and police remained at the scene early Saturday morning.

A 32-year-old Cranbourne man was arrested in Dandenong about 2.30pm on Saturday in relation to the stabbing.

He has been charged with murder and will appear at an out-of-sessions hearing at Dandenong police station on Saturday night.
