Man charged in connection with series of knifepoint robberies

Peel Regional Police have made an arrest in connection with a series of knifepoint robberies of Mississauga stores. Police say three stores and gas stations – a Petro-Canada on Britannia Road West, a Mr. Convenience on Pickwick Drive and a Subway on Creditview Road – were robbed this week and last by a man who came into the locations armed with a knife. The man demanded cash and property.

Police say no one was injured in any of the incidents.

Yesterday, police arrested Lou-I Bou-Chahine, 24, of Mississauga and charged him with three counts of robbery, three counts of disguise with intent and one count of possession of stolen property.
